General Motors (GM) issued a recall affecting more than 67,000 Cadillac and Chevy EVs because a software glitch can cause a temporary loss of braking.
The recall comes after a 2024 Cadillac Lyriq ran into a garage (at a low speed).
On April 10, 2026, a GM tech expert submitted a report to GM’s Speak Up for Safety (SUFS) program for review.
