🔮 Strategic Outlook & What Lies Ahead
Range Rover has launched the Range Rover Electric and is preparing a Range Rover Sport Electric , effectively electrifying its core lineup. A new entry-level Range Rover GT is also on the way and will effectively replace the Evoque and Velar once it hits production as a 2028 model.
Like the Jaguar Type 01, the Range Rover GT takes the shape of a long and low sedan-like vehicle with a minimalist interior and an all-wheel-drive electric powertrain. The Range Rover GT will launch first as an EV, but the company says the platform is capable of hosting gas and hybrid powertrains as well. A starting price of around $90,000 is expected, significantly increasing the entry price to the Range Rover brand.
